Sure, Prince George is technically closer in line for the throne than his sister Charlotte, but if these things were decided on merit and ability to follow and enforce royal protocol, the 7-year-old princess would be crowned tomorrow.In a short video from the funeral published by , Princess Charlotte can be seen giving her older brother detailed instructions, pointing her finger for emphasis while telling George, “You need to bow,” when the royal coffin passes. Whether or not George appreciated Charlotte's advice (older brothers do tend to resent being told what to do by their little sisters) is not for me to say.
