Stella Rose has shared details of her debut album, as well as unveiling new single ‘Faithful’ – check it out below.‘Eye Of Glass’ will be released on May 19 via KRO Records. To coincide with the announcement, Rose has released the video for ‘Faithful’, which was directed by Ben Howley.The New York-based musician worked on the new album over a two-week period in late 2020 with Yves Rothman, who has also recently produced records for Blondshell and Bartees Strange.Rose’s breakout single ‘Muddled Man’ arrived in October 2022, swiftly followed by ‘Angel’ the following month. Both tracks, alongside ‘Faithful’, will appear on ‘Eye Of Glass’.

Jenny Lewis has announced details of her fifth studio album, ‘Joy’All’, and shared its latest single ‘Psychos’.Produced by Dave Cobb, the new album is due out on June 9 via Blue Note/EMI and follows 2019’s ‘On The Line’. It was first previewed last year with the single ‘Puppy And A Truck’.Explaining how the album came together, Lewis said: “I started writing some of these songs on the road, pre-pandemic… and then put them aside as the world shut down. […] Then from my home in Nashville in early 2021, I joined a week-long virtual songwriting workshop with a handful of amazing artists, hosted by Beck.“The challenge was to write one song every day for seven days, with guidelines from Beck.

Chvrches have shared an official live video for their new single ‘Over’ – you can watch it in full below.The clip was shot during their show at the Audio Club in São Paulo, Brazil, earlier this month.The band previously gave the track its live debut while opening for Coldplay in the city.Later in the tour, singer Lauren Mayberry also joined Coldplay on stage for a performance of the band’s 2019 song ‘Cry Cry Cry’.The original song features Jacob Collier on backing vocals. The English singer-songwriter also contributed to its writing.

Nell Mescal has shared a new single – check out the uptempo ‘In My Head’ below.The soaring pop track arrives with a video directed by Dora Paphides, and is the second new release from the Irish singer-songwriter this year, following January’s ‘Homesick’.“‘In My Head’ is a song about searching for a love you had in the past, a feeling you’re never sure you’ll find again so you seek comfort in relationships that are emotionally draining and one sided,” Mescal said.“It’s about thinking that it must always be your fault and eventually leading to resentment towards the other person. We all have that person we look back on and miss, this track captures the moment they slip into your head.”The 19-year-old kicked off her 2023 with a spot in the NME 100.
