Vin Diesel Unveils ‘Fast & Furious 10’ Title as Production Begins

A rumor had been circulating from The New York Daily News that writer/director Justin Lin‘s exit on “Fast X” last month was directly linked to producer/star Vin Diesel‘s unprofessionalism in allegedly showing up late to set, not learning his lines, and coming to set out of shape. While that rumbling might be true, we’re still waiting for confirmation on that story.

Lin, who has directed five films in the franchise, will continue to serve as producer.Following the announcement, The Hollywood Reporter has claimed a “major disagreement” took place between Diesel and Lin on April 23 which sparked the director’s decision to leave.According to the publication, the disagreement was over the changing script.

He was joined onstage by Robert De Niro, who plays Maniscalco’s father, as well as co-stars Leslie Bibb and Kim Cattrall.

An upcoming film adaptation of the video game It Takes Two has landed at Amazon, with Seven Bucks Productions coming aboard to produce alongside dj2 Entertainment, Deadline can confirm.

Joe Otterson TV Reporter“It Takes Two” is getting the movie treatment, with the project now set up at Amazon for priority development, Variety has learned exclusively.Variety reported in January that the game was being adapted for the screen. As previously reported, dj2 Entertainment will produce the film, with Seven Bucks Productions now boarding the project along with Amazon Studios. Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, and Hiram Garcia will produce on behalf of Seven Bucks.
