K.J. Yossman “Next Level Chef” is headed to France after Kitchen Factory Productions snapped up the French format rights to the culinary competition series. Kitchen Factory, who will produce the French version, announced the deal on Wednesday (Oct. 19) alongside Chef Cyril Lignac, producer Matthieu Jean-Toscani and Studio Ramsay Global, the joint production venture created by British chef Gordon Ramsay’s worldwide production with FOX Entertainment. (Ramsay is pictured above, left, with Lignac). The format of the show sees a three-storey stage on which each level boasts differing culinary equipment and ingredients reflecting their environment. The competing chefs – comprised of restaurant-experienced professionals, home cooks and even social media stars – must use their imagination and unleash their creativity all while keeping their cool as they attempt to climb from the challenging basement floor to the glistening top.

Robert Gordon, a rockabilly devotee and singer whose band the Tuff Darts was a staple of New York City’s CBGB and Max’s Kansas City punk scene of the 1970s, died today. He was 75.

Florence + The Machine have shared a new live album recorded at their huge Madison Square Garden show in New York last month.The gig took place on September 17 as part of a world tour behind Florence’s new album ‘Dance Fever’, and a 24-track live album of the performance has hit streaming services today (October 14).The career-spanning set begins with recent single ‘Heaven Is Here’, with ‘Dance Fever’ songs ‘Free’, ‘King’ and more also aired.The live album then finishes with renditions of huge hits ‘Shake It Out’ and ‘Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up)’.Listen to the whole thing below.The North American leg of the ‘Dance Fever’ world tour will wrap up tonight (October 14) with a show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. And the Killers delivered on that, taking New York City on a tour of its greatest songs from “Hot Fuss” to “Pressure Machine.”

Zack Sharf Lizzo made history this week during the Washington D.C. stop of her “The Special Tour” when she performed with a 200-year-old flute once owned by Founding Father and U.S. president James Madison. The flute was gifted to Madison in 1813 and has been maintained by the Library of Congress. “Bitch, I just twerked and played James Madison’s crystal flute from the 1800s,” Lizzo told concertgoers. “We just made history tonight!” Lizzo is a classically trained flutist and only blew a few notes out of Madison’s crystal flute, which she was invited to play by Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden, and yet Republicans are up in arms over the brief performance. Several GOP members took to social media after videos of Lizzo playing the flute went viral to accuse her of “desecrating American history just for the sake of it,” as right-wing pundit Matt Walsh alleged on Twitter.

Billy Joel will headline the British Summer Time festival next July, which marks his only scheduled performance in Europe in 2023. One of the most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in history, Joel will perform on Friday July 7, during BST Hyde Park’s 10th anniversary festival.  He joins previously announced headliners Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on the BST Hyde Park billing for 2023 so far.
