Fox has acquired CTV’s Holmes Family Effect, an unscripted series starring home renovation contractor and TV personality Mike Holmes, from Bell Media for a midseason 2020-21 premiere. The four-part series, which has completed production, is slated to premiere in Canada on CTV in early 2021.

One of the more interesting announcements is confirmation of a long-gestating rumor that Marvel Studios had been developing a project featuring whiz-kid Riri Williams. “Ironheart,” the second of the newly announced series coming to Disney+, stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man.
