UNKLE share new track ‘The Way Back Home’ from ‘Rōnin II’ mixtape

Camila Cabello and Hans Zimmer have shared their new collaborative song ‘Take Me Back Home’ – hear the song in the trailer for Frozen Planet II below.The song was announced last week and promised to arrive within the trailer for the Sir David Attenborough-narrated series, which is described by the BBC as “a spellbinding six-episode journey through earth’s magical icy lands including the north and south poles”.The track also features contributions from two of Zimmer’s long-term collaborators, arranger Anže Rozman and producer Russell Emanuel for Bleeding Fingers Music.“To be able to combine my passion for the planet we live on and my music is a dream come true – never mind also getting to work with the legend that is Hans Zimmer,” Cabello said in a statement.“Frozen Planet II is stunning and Sir David’s narration is deeply powerful as we try to protect these incredible ecosystems from global warming. I’m grateful to be able to lend my voice to such an inspiring series.”Zimmer added: “It was hugely exciting composing and recording ‘Take Me Back Home’ with Camila and discovering that her musical talents are as powerful as her voice.

Lil Tjay has released his first music following a near fatal shooting earlier this year.On June 22, Tjay – real name Tione Jayden Merritt – was shot multiple times along with a friend, 22-year-old Antoine Boyd, at a local shopping plaza during an attempted armed robbery. Tjay underwent emergency surgery as a result of the incident.The rapper posted a video to his Instagram account earlier this week (August 24), where he spoke for the first time about the incident. The rapper said he survived “seven shots” and went on to thank fans who supported him during his recovery.“I just want to say thanks for the love,” Tjay said in the clip.

Manic Street Preachers have shared a previously unheard song called ‘Studies In Paralysis’ with an official video by Kieran Evans – check that out below.The song appears on the band’s forthcoming expanded and remastered version of 2001 album ‘Know Your Enemy’, which will be released on September 9 and can be pre-ordered here.The album will be divided into two albums across two disks, ‘Solidarity’ and ‘Door To The River’. Iceage have announced they’ll release a new rarities collection titled ‘Shake the Feeling: Outtakes & Rarities 2015–2021’ next month.The collection, out September 23 via Mexican Summer, will contain 12 non-album cuts (songs frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt describes as “misfit children”) including covers of Bob Dylan‘s ‘I’ll Keep It With Mine’ and Abner Jay’s ‘My Mule’.To coincide with the announcement, the band have shared a new single, also titled ‘Shake the Feeling’. The song was recorded during sessions for the band’s 2018 album ‘Beyondless’, but left off the album for being too “happy go lucky”, according to Rønnenfelt. It arrives alongside a video directed by Alex Cantouris and filmed at Moth Club in London.
