A lucky UK ticket-holder has come forward to claim an eye-watering £54million EuroMillions jackpot.
The lucky winner matched all seven numbers to scoop the prize in the draw on Friday June 10.
If the claim is verified it would be the third UK ticket-holder to win a huge pile of cash in the EuroMillions in 2022, with Camelot announcing that someone has made a claim on the £54,957,242.50 fortune.
The numbers on the lotto were 17, 26, 36, 37 and 40 with Lucky Stars are 9 and 12 and if confirmed it would be up to the ticket holder if they want to go public, report the Mirror.
Camelot said there would be no information on whether they are an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased, unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.
This comes on the heels of Joe and Jess Thwaite becoming the UK’s biggest ever winners when they scooped an unbelievable £184million.
In February another UK ticket holder took home nine digits, winning £109million but choosing to remain anonymous.
Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “It’s been an amazing year for National Lottery players and we’re delighted the huge £54M jackpot has been claimed.
"Our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.
“There is another chance for a big UK winner tomorrow night (Tuesday 21 June) when there is an estimated £122M EuroMillions jackpot up for grabs.”
Happy couple Joe and Jess Thwaite from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, took home the dream prize of £184,262,899 in May this year.
The winning couple said they were "not sure anyone is really prepared for a win like this".
Jess said at the time the inspiration behind their
