Twynholm Primary School held a prize bingo fundraiser in the village hall on Friday.
It was very well attended by the local community to the extent that extra tables and chairs were needed to accommodate everyone. Actor Gary Lewis did a sterling job of calling the numbers and entertaining the crowd, creating a fun atmosphere.
Children had a non-uniform day at school in exchange for prizes for the bingo and raffle and local businesses generously donated prizes. Thanks go to The Old Schoolhouse, Feast, Rhubarb, Pure Beauty, Halls Butchers, Dark Art Distillery, Dark Space, J W Law, Gallovida Books, Newton Stewart Cinema, The Wee Pottery and Tesco Kirkcudbright for their contributions.
Organisers would like to thank everyone who made it such a great night, with a whopping £917.60 raised for Twynholm Primary.
