Two women have been airlifted to hospital after being struck by lightning at the summit of Snowdon.
The walkers had reached the top of the mountain when intense thunderstorms hit the North West this afternoon.
Mountain Rescue teams told North Wales Live that one of the women was bleeding and "falling in and out consciousness" when they arrived to assist.
