Two taken to hospital after 'police incident' in Cheetham Hill

Two people were left needing hospital treatment today after an incident occurred at Cheetham Hill in Manchester.
A third person also needed to be assessed at the scene by paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service.
Ambulance crews and police were pictured outside Cohens Chemist on Cheetham Hill Road this afternoon, January 25.

A police car and two ambulance vehicles can be seen parked up along the roadside, close to the Queens Road junction, as they dealt with the incident.
The North West Ambulance Service later confirmed they were called to the scene at around 3pm, where two people were later taken to hospital.
Police tape can also be seen blocking off part of the the pavement.

The Manchester Evening News currently has no further details on the 'police incident'.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: "Two patients were taken hospital, and a third was assessed at the scene following a police incident. We were called at 15.00."
