abroad when she required a blood transfusion after coming off a waltzer-type ride in Turkey.Melissa Hunter, 35, suffered multiple injuries, including a broken nose, after the incident which occurred while she was on holiday for two weeks in the popular destination with her friend.On Saturday, May 21, the friends decided to go on the ride which was behind their hotel, but moments later she was unconscious having been flung off the attraction.
Melissa said she wanted to share her story to warn others of the possible dangers of amusement rides abroad.She said: "The only way I can describe is the seats are like the Waltzers which has a seat and a bar which goes down, they were like in a row behind each other in the circle. "So the ride goes round and round and then tips on a slant, so you're kind of sideways."He's like laughing and we're laughing at first.
