Unvaccinated customers aged 18 and over returning to Scotland need to take a test within the two days before their flight home departs.
So, if your flight departs on a Friday, you can take your test any time on the Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, as long as you have your results confirmed in time for boarding.
Fully vaccinated customers and those aged 17 and under need to take an antigen - rapid lateral flow- or PCR test within two days of arrival in Scotland.
This test must be booked with a private supplier (not NHS) before you travel home, and can be taken at any time after you land, as long as it's taken within two days of your return.
