Tribeca Doc ‘Accepted’ Acquired By Greenwich Entertainment, Gets Summer Release Date

Back in April 2022, Greenwich Entertainment announced the acquisition of North American distribution rights to Stay Prayed Up. Now, Greenwich has released an official trailer for the film.

Greenwich Entertainment announced the acquisition of North American distribution rights to Stay Prayed Up, the feature directorial debut of co-director Matt Durning and second feature from co-director D.L. Anderson (Farmer/Veteran).  The Vittles Films and Interlocking Pictures documentary premiered to rave reviews at its World Premiere at the Telluride Film Festival and at DOC NYC.  Greenwich will release the film in theaters on June 17.

Naman Ramachandran U.K.-based sales agent Dogwoof has revealed the world sales acquisition of “Lynch/Oz,” Alexandre O. Philippe’s feature documentary about the enduring influence of Victor Fleming’s 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” on David Lynch’s cinema. The film is premiering at the Tribeca Festival in June.This is the third collaboration between Dogwoof and Philippe, Kerry Deignan Roy and Robert Muratore’s Exhibit A Pictures.

The full Tribeca Film Festival lineup of 109 feature films from 40 countries and 88 world premieres for the 2022 event that takes place June 9-18 has been announced. It’ll be interesting to see if some of the films at the festival will end up being popular breakouts, land major studio/streamer distribution, or eventually move on to get recognized during awards season.
