Coachella has locked down their headliners! The official Instagram account for the music festival announced that Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd would replace Kanye «Ye» West at this year's festival — joining Billie Eilish and Harry Styles — as the headliners.“The Party & The After Party,” the caption read next to an updated image of the tour poster (see below for full list of performers).  The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, took to his own Instagram account to share the news with the same image. The “Save Your Tears” singer opted for no caption.

A series of billboards that appear to be linked to Travis Scott and his long-rumored new album have been photographed in California this weekend. The four billboards were photographed on the I-10 highway on the road leading away from the Coachella grounds in Indio, California.

The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia have been announced as last-minute headliners for Coachella 2022, replacing Kanye West.Last week, it was reported that Ye was pulling out of his closing night headline sets for the two-weekend event, which takes place April 15-17 and April 22-24 in Indio, California.The news has now been confirmed by Coachella, who took to Instagram this afternoon (April 6) to share a new line-up poster featuring “Swedish House Mafia x The Weeknd” on the Sundays of April 17 and 24 in place of Kanye.Swedish House Mafia had already been scheduled to perform at the festival, with The Weeknd now joining them for a bill-topping joint set.“I’m so looking forward to this moment with Swedish House Mafia and the Weeknd finishing out the Sunday night slot this year,” Coachella organiser Paul Tollett told Variety of the news.“Coachella has a special relationship with Abel [Tesfaye] and I’m so thankful to have this upcoming performance with these iconic artists all on the same stage.”“The Party & The After Party,” Coachella labelled the news.

Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, who welcomed their second child together on February 2, have been keeping a low profile in recent months. Their under-the-radar appearance came after Scott's Astroworld concert - held last November in Houston, Texas - led to a stampede which killed 10 people. However, the on-and-off couple made a rare appearance together for the first time in five months to attend Disneyland in Anaheim, California with their four-year-old daughter Stormi.

Travis Scott has been laying low following the tragedy at AstroWorld, but he couldn’t resist Mickey, Donald, and the smile that his daughter, Stormi Webster, gets when seeing all her favorites at Disneyland. Travis, 30, joined his 4-year-old daughter and her mother, Kylie Jenner, on a trip to Anaheim, California, on Sunday (Mar. 3), and in the photos seen here, the two enjoyed walking through the park together. Kylie, 24, and the “Sicko Mode” rapper dressed in dark colors. Each wore oversized clothes, with Kylie opting for a zipper hoodie with loose-fitting jeans, while Travis wore a pullover fleece and black cap. Stormi, on the other hand, was dressed in bright colors. ‘

Kanye West has pulled out of his headline performance at this year’s Coachella festival, according to reports.The rapper and producer was scheduled to headline the closing night of the two-weekend event, which takes place April 15-17 and April 22-24, but according to TMZ and Variety this will no longer be the case.It’s not been made clear as to why West has cancelled his appearance at the California festival, but it’s also been reported that Travis Scott was set to perform alongside West, and he too will now no longer appear.NME has reached out to Coachella and representatives for West for comment.The news follows a petition that was launched by fans last month to remove West from the festival’s line-up, which currently has almost 50,000 signatures.The Change.org petition was launched on March 17 by a user with the alias Kim Pete, following West’s suspension on Instagram for his post about Trevor Noah which contained racial slurs.

There will be no Kanye “Ye” West at Coachella this year, according to TMZ. The publication reported that Ye’s “decided to pull the plug on his performance” at the two-weekend event in Indio, California. As to why Ye, 44, would back out at the last minute, TMZ reports it’s “unclear exactly why” he decided to walk away. The publication also notes that Travis Scott was supposed to join Ye onstage, marking his biggest performance since the fatal accident at AstroWorld.
