The head of portering at a children’s hospital — who surprised six-year-old Adam King on the Toy Show — said it was an ‘accolade’ for him to be there for Adam and all the other patients he has had ‘the fortune to come across’ during his career.
Temple Street’s head of portering, John Doyle, told the Irish Mail on Sunday last night that he was still ‘on an absolute high’ from the experience and was honoured to go on the show and surprise Adam as one of his heroes.
