Those close to the dad-of-four have said his injuries were "not life-threatening", despite his worrying hospital dash. The cast and crew were at the Dunsfold Aerodrome in Surrey, when Freddie was in an accident.
A spokesman for the show has revealed that the incident is now being "fully investigated". The show's statement read: "Our primary concern is and has been for the welfare of Freddie - as well as the Top Gear team.
