Tom and Kelsey Parker's relationship was a love and bond like no other. So it's no surprise when we chatted to her about her husband, who sadly passed away in March following his battle with an inoperable brain tumour, Kelsey said he was quite a romantic. The couple were married back in 14 July in 2018, and although Tom had a soft side, he could be complacent at remembering anniversaries.
“Tom was romantic but then not romantic,” she explained. “He could forget things, but he was thoughtful. "If he was doing something it would be to the extreme.
One year on an anniversary he cut out 50 love hearts and wrote 50 reasons why he loved me on them.” Kelsey and Tom had a long-lasting love after meeting at the age of 19 outside a nightclub. The couple fought valiantly to stay as positive as possible while his health deteriorated, but sadly Tom lost his battle with cancer on 30 March. And the 32 year old told us that although she has been surrounded by support, no one can fill the hole left by Tom. “It’s not that I’m lonely as I have so many friends and family around me, but no one is Tom,” she said.
“Your partner is different. He used to drive me nuts but I absolutely loved him and he loved me. It’s a bond like no other." Tom idolised Kelsey and in his book, he called his wife his “guardian angel”.
When asked how she would describe her late husband, she lights up as she told us the singer was her “biggest fan”. “Tom would big me up for absolutely everything. Everything I did was amazing and unbelievable – I was the prettiest girl with the best body.
And then I was his guardian angel and sorted him out. It’s a love like no other really,” she shared. Kelsey further explained she keeps going for their children, two-year-old Aurelia
