The criteria stipulated that, to qualify for nomination, movies must be shown in cinemas (direct to streaming titles do not qualify), must have had a release in at least five regions or big cities, and attract audiences of at least 50,000 spectators. At least, one local media report said that the rules were introduced in 2019. But the change had little impact in the intervening years due to low levels of film production.

Rage Against The Machine‘s Tom Morello has revealed that the band have not made any plans to reschedule their cancelled shows in North America and Europe.Speaking to Rolling Stone, Morello shared an update on the status of the band and frontman Zack de la Rocha’s injury after he tore his Achilles tendon last year while performing. Following de la Rocha’s injury, the band had to cancel their 2022 UK and Europe and their 2023 North American tour dates.When asked if the band will hit the road again once de la Rocha recovers, Morello replied: “We’ll see. I’m sorry Meg White was terrible and no band is better for having sh*tty percussion.” Markay has since deleted the tweet.A number of musicians have defended Meg White, including The Roots’ Questlove and Portishead‘s Geoff Barrow.
