Tom Cruise is on the top of the world this year thanks to the success of his movie Top Gun: Maverick, which is now the seventh highest-grossing movie of all time domestically.
Now, it’s being reported that the 60-year-old actor has three more movies in the works, all with the same director!
Tom has been working with longtime collaborator Christopher McQuarrie on the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One and Part Two. They’re also plotting their next three projects together, according to Deadline.

The outlet reports that one of the projects is “an original song and dance-style musical they’ll craft as a star vehicle for Cruise.” The report says he’s “long been interested in doing a musical” after learning to sing for his previous movie musical Rock of Ages.
The next project will be “another original action film with franchise potential.”
The third project will revisit Tom‘s character Les Grossman from the movie Tropic Thunder. The report say it’s “unclear if they will create a whole movie around Grossman, or borrow him for inclusion in either of the other vehicles.”
Tom and Christopher are planning on writing all three scripts together.
