In each episode, Judge Chrissy adjudicates one small-claims case. The plaintiffs, defendants, and disputes are real, and Teigen’s decisions are final and binding.

The show follows them as they navigate their attraction to each other, which is complicated by Tom’s career, Jessie’s quirky group of friends and their mutual inability to communicate properly. Season 2 of the show ended with the two temporarily breaking up, but after her friends help her realize her tendency to run from relationships when they get serious, Jessie apologizes to Tom and the two reunite.

This is not the first time Schwartz has been at the helm of a show based on a DC property, as she served as the showrunner on the final two seasons of “Arrow” at The CW.

Selome Hailu “Tokyo Vice,” the crime drama series based on Jake Adelstein’s 2009 memoir of the same name, has been renewed for a second season at HBO Max.The series stars Ansel Elgort as Adelstein, an American journalist who reports on the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat in the late ‘90s, descending daily into the underbelly of the city. Ken Watanabe, Rinko Kikuchi, Rachel Keller, Ella Rumpf, Hideaki Ito, Show Kasamatsu and Tomohisa Yamashita also starred in Season 1.“We could not be more excited to bring the passionate fans of the show another season to continue this intriguing and suspenseful crime story set in one of the most vibrant and beautiful cities in the world,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at HBO Max.
