Three men have been arrested after a man was attacked in Manchester city centre.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Bridge Street at around 2.30am this morning (Monday). The road was then cordoned off.
A man was taken to hospital from the scene. He remains there in a stable condition, police said.

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault. They are all currently in custody being questioned by officers.
Transport for Greater Manchester said the road was reopened at around 6.30am this morning. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Police were called around 2.30am on Monday 21 March 2022 to a report of an assault on Bridge Street, Manchester.
"Emergency services attended and enquiries established three men had assaulted another man.
"He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
"Three men have been arrested on suspicion of assault and remain in custody.
