This Morning took an unexpected turn today as the ITV show featured a guest who sang a song to his horse, unintentionally rendering both presenters Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes unable to breathe as they struggled to stop laughing. Guest Kirk Petrakis was joined by Patrick the Pony, who is cheering people up and doing good work in his home village of Cockington, Devon.
"Have we got time to sing a song?" Kirk asked, as Andi and Rochelle instantly dissolved into giggles. Rochelle managed to hold it together and replied: "What song would you like to sing?" Kirk then began a rendition of Patrick's Song, which went: "Patrick the Pony, Patrick the Pony, is a very special pony, if you're in trouble just call out his name, he'll come trotting and he will save the day, oh neigh hooray, oh neigh hooray, Patrick will save the day." As the song concluded, Andi was clearly struggling to breathe as he suppressed his laughter and there was a long pause before he was able to say: "Thank you so much, Kirk.
And thank you, Patrick." Viewers had a mixed reaction to Andi and Rochelle's stifled laughs. One said on Twitter: "Just spat my brew all over laughing at Andi Peters trying to hold his laugh in at Patrick the pony song." Another added: "Patrick the pony, he’ll save the day!! With you there Andi, tears in my eyes, please stop!!" A third said: "@andipeters you just reminded me of how I laughed at something funny in school, but you couldn’t show it and would sit silently crying losing the will to live." But others felt Andi's laughter was mean-spirited.
One said: "Andi Peters is a disgrace making fun of that beautiful man with Patrick the Pony. He obviously doesn’t know how amazing Pets As Therapy is." Another echoed: "I thought the song
.Tig Notaro is the latest star to join the cast of The Morning Show!
BreAnna Bell Tig Notaro is joining “The Morning Show” for Season 3 in a recurring role, Variety has confirmed. The “One Mississippi” creator and star will portray Amanda Robinson, the chief of staff to corporate chief Paul Marks (played by Jon Hamm). Other previously announced cast members include Hamm and Nicole Beharie, as well as returning star Julianna Margulies. Season 3 is currently in production. In Season 2, viewers found “The Morning Show” team dusting themselves off following the havoc wreaked by Alex (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley (Reese Witherspoon), and entering a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play.
EXCLUSIVE: Apple TV+’s The Morning Show has locked in another high-profile new addition to its Season 3 cast. Tig Notaro has been tapped for a major recurring role alongside new series regulars Nicole Beharie and Jon Hamm as well as Julianna Margulies, who signed a deal to reprise her Season 2 recurring role.
The Morning Show? Jennifer Aniston, star and executive producer of the workplace drama (available to Apple TV+ subscribers), seemed to be dreaming of the beach this week, as she posted some photos from a recent vacation. However, her co-star Reese Witherspoon, who also executive produces The Morning Show and portrays Bradley Jackson, revealed any and all vacations are over, and the team is back to work on Season 3!Don’t get me wrong, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon likely have a much better relationship than their characters do on the show (they’d almost have to, right?), so I’m sure the former wasn’t actually as annoyed as Alex would be to return to set.
This Morning presenter Andi Peters cheekily left his co-host Rochelle Humes open-mouthed today (August 19) after having a dig at her former band, The Saturdays. His jibe came just as the pair wrapped up a segment involving a studio performance from the cast of new West End musical, Six which reimagines the story of Henry VIII's six wives and featured a contemporary performance which had a distinctly girl-group vibe to it.
Andi Peters didn't hold back during his last appearance of the week on This Morning. The ITV star has been hosting the popular daytime programme alongside Rochelle Humes. They have been the latest duo to host the show amid the changing summer line-up in the absence of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
It wasn't quite a case of the eagle-eyed but the eagle-hearing as This Morning viewers flocked to social media after being left stunned by Andi Peters' almost blunder. The presenter, who is regularly seen on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine, has been hosting the ITV daytime show this week alongside Rochelle Humes.
Rishi Sunak didn't hide his excitement as he appeared on This Morning. The Tory leadership hopeful appeared live in the studio on the ITV daytime show on Thursday (August 18) with just over two weeks to go until the country gets a new Prime Minister.
Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters were quickly being told off by viewers as they returned to This Morning on Thursday (August 18). The pair are at the helm of the ITV daytime show all this week as the latest duo to take on hosting duties over the summer while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield enjoy their annual break.
Andi Peters has become a staple to our TV screens over the years, having started out as a children's TV presenter before going on to appear on shows such as This Morning and Good Morning Britain. The 52 year old can usually be found advertising competitions on ITV's morning shows and occasionally filling in for hosts, including Lorraine Kelly. Andi is known for his fun personality and first shot to fame as the host of BBC's The Broom Cupboard, which saw him pair up with iconic puppet Edd the Duck.
Viewers were left wondering what they had tuned in to watch as they switched on This Morning today. Andi Peters and Rochelle Humes were back at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Tuesday (August 16) after kicking off a fresh week on the programme yesterday.
