The nominations for this year's MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) have been announced.

This Morning and Emmerdale led the winners at this afternoon’s TRIC Awards, which celebrate the best of British broadcasting. The annual event saw a host of stars, including Holly Willoughby, Philip Schofield and TOWIE's Joey Essex, descend on London’s swish Grosvenor’s House Hotel for the bash.
OK! is the media partner for this year’s TRIC Awards and our Best Daytime prize was won by ITV’s This Morning gang, while Good Morning Britain picked up the Best Multi-Channel News gong. Plenty of individual stars were honoured too, with Holby City’s Rosie Marcel beating stiff competition from Paige Sandhu, Sally Carman and Simon Gregson to scoop the Soap Actor accolade.
Ant and Dec also beat their frenemy Piers Morgan to the TV Personality prize, while Roman Kemp scooped two accolades – Best Radio Programme and Radio Personality. Eamonn Holmes, who left ITV in late 2021, won Best News Presenter.
