This Is England child star Thomas Turgoose has come a long way since landing the lead role in Shane Meadow's hit film and is all grown up now, 16 years after the movie debuted. The actor, now 29, was plucked from obscurity to star as Shaun Fields in the hard-hitting movie and went on to reprise his role in the This Is England's sequels which were set in 1986, 1988 and 1990.The most recent, a TV series, was released in 2015.
Viewers watched Thomas grow up on screen, being just 14 when he first found fame, but now he looks decidedly different from his TV days, sporting a longer hairstyle. He was originally known for his short locks and baby face.

He told The Sun: "My career has had its ups and downs. As long as I'm happy, f*** it, who cares if I work in a pub?" Thomas continued his acting career by going on to star in multiple programmes such as The Innocence Project and Somers Town, as well as making a cameo in Game of Thrones.
