Manchester United fans have been left furious following rumours that Everton defender Michael Keane's brother Tom will be joining the club as a chief transfer negotiator.
According to the Mail Online, Keane, who works as a solicitor for legal firm Brandsmiths, will be welcomed to Old Trafford in a consultancy role next month. His new position will see him take on some of the responsibilities previously held by Matt Judge who is departing as head of corporate development this summer.
These responsibilities included sounding out players and agents to see if they would be keen on making the move to the Theatre of Dreams. On the Brandsmiths website, they speak highly of Keane and the work he does.

"In sport, Tom has vast experience in the football industry where he has become a trusted advisor and representative for household name players, managers and pundits," the website reads. "His work for these clients includes negotiating high-value transfers, contracts and endorsement agreements."
Despite the glowing recommendation from Brandsmiths, United fans are less than impressed about this rumoured appointment. Here is what they had to say on Twitter.
