Northern quarter gaming bar Pixel has lost equipment worth £25,000 after it was broken into. Thieves stole nine gaming PCs and a monitor from its basement, after breaking in through a fire exit in the early hours of last Friday morning.
The much-loved bar, on Thomas Street, picked up the robbery on its CCTV, and has released the footage to social media, in the hope it could help identify those responsible. Owners say they have been working with Greater Manchester Police over the weekend, assisting with its enquiries.
“We're devastated, financially and emotionally this has really hit us and we don't know what to say,” read the message on Twitter. The tweet also showed close-up pictures of the thieves though all three were masked.
