Though the Da 5 Bloods filmmaker was referring in the moment to the fact that he and the late-night host were speaking over video chat rather than at The Tonight Show's 30 Rock studios, he could have just as easily been discussing the protests over racist police brutality and systemic racism that have swept the U.S.

Perhaps the most frustrating part about the whole release date fiasco surrounding “Tenet” is the lack of information from Warner Bros. We all know that the studio would love to release the film in July, and Christopher Nolan wants to be the filmmaker that ushers in the post-COVID-19 box office with a huge, splashy action epic.

Movie bosses remain confident Christopher Nolan’s new film, Tenet, will open in cinemas on July 17, 2020, despite ongoing COVID-19 restrictions.

Has there been a film with a more anticipated release date than Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet?” Unlike the release dates for a big Marvel Studios film or the latest “Star Wars” movie, Warner Bros’ “Tenet” is not only poised to be one of the biggest films of the year, but it’s also being looked at as the film that will reignite the theatrical experience after the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down a number of months ago.

It seems that the marketing for Tenet is really building with yet another teaser trailer being released to make us want even more of the latest Christopher Nolan. The film is still set for release in mid-July (at the time of writing) with the movie set to be the first major studio movie to hit cinemas since they closed back in March.

Although two trailers of Tenet were released, it hasn't revealed the mystery of the Christopher Nolan directorial. Fans have been speculating about the plot, which seems to have some connection with defying the laws of time. While the trailers have been messing with our heads, it turns out even Robert Pattinson wasn't aware of what was happening for most months of the filming. The Twilight actor recently confessed that though he shot every scene given him, he had no idea what was going on. 

Turns out, stars are just like us, at least when it comes to being confused by Christopher Nolan‘s movies. As part of Esquire’s new profile on “Tenet” leading star John David Washington, his co-star Robert Pattinson acknowledged he often relied on Washington to help him understand the plot of the film as they were filming.

His films not only are well made, with many being completely original ideas (a sad rarity in today’s blockbuster business), but they’re also some of the most analyzed, as fans spend hours and hours trying to figure out the hidden meanings in his features.

Just when we thought it seemed inevitable that Warner Bros. is planning to move ahead with its July 17 release date for Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet,” San Francisco releases news that doesn’t bode well for the film’s expected debut, as well as the rest of the summer movie season.

Christopher Nolan films are known for a number of things. They all have booming scores that are instantly recognizable.

So far, we’ve heard from AMC Theatres and Cinemark about their plans to reopen cinemas in North America by July to welcome aboard Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet,” the film industry’s hope to save the summer movie season. However, we still didn’t know what Regal Cinemas had planned.

DC Films has seen several actors play Batman. But in the past two decades, two actors have stood out as the Cape Crusader. Back in 2005, Christopher Nolan reinvented the DC superhero with the help of Christian Bale. The duo presented the Batman trilogy via the Dark Knight series. Nolan not only had Bale don the cape for Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, but the ace filmmaker also gave us the ultimate Joker. But that's a discussion for another day.

The new trailer of Tenet was released today and it has Christopher Nolan's ingenious mind written all over it. Unlike the first trailer of the flick, the new trailer starring John David Washington and Robert Pattinson sheds light on the plot of the Tenet.
