There’s not long left to sign up for the ‘Halo Infinite’ beta this month

It’s slowly starting to get very exciting for fans of the ‘Halo’ series, as now there’s a date for ‘Halo Infinite’ and developer 343 Industries is starting to host more and more weekends where people can test the game ahead of its December launch. The previous tests have showcased fights against AI, and 4v4 battles against other human players, but have all been exclusively for Halo Insider members, until now, that is.

Halo Infinite technical preview has included a glitch that allows players to beat each other up with a flurry of melee punches.The glitch is an infamous one for the series having appeared in Halo 2 and 3 in the past.

As we draw nearer to the December release for one of the biggest games to come from Xbox in a long time, the marketing is ramping up. ‘Halo Infinite’ is getting multiple test flight weekends where insiders will get to experience the multiplayer ahead of time, and developer 343 industries is also showing off some of the game via live streams, which has revealed an interesting area on a map.

Halo Infinite has its very own loot cave, a live stream event by 343 Industries has revealed.In the build-up to the game’s multiplayer tech preview this weekend, 343 Industries showed off a full Big Team Battle match to demonstrate what the game will be like. During the stream, it also highlighted a loot cave much like the ones seen in the Destiny series of games.As a sub-objective on the map, there is a huge vault that is loaded with power weapons.

343 Industries has confirmed that Halo Infinite will not have a dedicated multiplayer ranking system outside of its battle pass.This decision means that owning the battle pass will be the only way to rank in Halo Infinite as of launch-day, and even this will not rely solely on a traditional XP ranking.

343 Industries‘ upcoming sci-fi shooter Halo Infinite will host two back-to-back test weekends to put its evolving multiplayer matches through their paces.As announced in a blog post on the Halo Waypoint, the game will see the first test running from September 23-26, and the second  from September 30-October 3.

Halo Infinite is going to use a separate challenge system for levelling up its battle pass, and some fans aren’t too pleased with the idea.The concern stemmed from a recent Inside Infinite blog post by developer 343 Industries, where the head of design Jerry Hook talked about how the battle pass in the game will work.“Using challenges, our goal is that you will always be earning progress in your Battle Pass through playing and winning matches,” said Hook.
