The Wire star Lance Reddick dies just days before release of new John Wick film

Actor Lance Reddick, who starred in the popular HBO series The Wire, has tragically passed away aged 60, his publicist has announced. Lance's publicist Mia Hansen shared the tragic news in a statement, which read: "Acclaimed actor Lance Reddick passed away suddenly this morning from natural causes. Lance will be greatly missed.
Please respect his family’s privacy at this time." The sad news comes just days before the release of Lance's latest film, John Wick: Chapter 4, in which he reprised the role of Charon, who had portrayed in series prior three films. Lance was also set to appear on The Kelly Clarkson Show later this week, and has a number of unreleased projects, including the upcoming Disney+ series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, in which he plays the Greek God Zeus. Those who worked with and knew Lance have shared messages of condolence online, with American filmmaker and screenwriter James Gunn leading the way, with: "Lance Reddick was an incredibly nice guy, and an incredibly talented actor.
