‘The Watcher’ Lands Another No. 1 Nielsen Finish For Ryan Murphy; ‘Halloween Ends’ Cracks Top 10 On Peacock

Rian Johnson’s latest comedic puzzle, “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” is now in theaters (if only for a week, maybe) and has earned a ton of critical acclaim. So much so that it may snag the Best Picture nomination the first installment just missed.

The Watcher cruised to a win in Nielsen’s streaming rankings for the week of October 10 to 16, giving producer Ryan Murphy his second top show less than a month after the release of the blowout hit Dahmer.

The 35-year-old actor stars as the notorious serial killer - who was convicted of murdering 17 men betweenn1978 and 1991 - in the Netflix series 'Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' and explained that he wanted to give "120 percent" but felt able to "breathe" once shooting had wrapped. He said: "Doing the role, I wanted to give it 120 percent the whole way through, so I brought in a lot of darkness and negativity.

In his second appearance in two days to talk about Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, creator Ryan Murphy said his goal for the limited series was to tell a “complicated humans story.”
