Claudia Winkleman is gearing up to host a second season of her smash hit show The Traitors.
BBC bosses were reportedly thrilled after the first season of the reality show became an overnight sensation last year, sending fans into a frenzy with every plot twist.
The show saw 22 contestants come together in Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands and suss out who was a Traitor amongst the Faithfuls, while trying to win the jackpot prize of up to £120,000.
After the huge success of the UK version, Peacock launched The Traitors US and enlisted Scots star Alan Cumming as the host.
The US version had a mix of reality star and other celebrities as well as members of the general public as the battled it out in the countryside for the prize pot.
Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia is reportedly on board to front the second series of the show, according to The Mirror. "These days almost every new series is a reboot of something that’s gone before," said the insider.
"So, it’s really nice to try something fresh – and for it to do well. The Traitors got everyone talking, so bringing it back was a no-brainer. Claudia was perfect."
Last year the 10-part UK series was filmed back-to-back with the US version and producers Studio Lambert plan to do the same thing this year.
In the epic grand finale viewers rejoiced as Scots star Meryl Williams won the show alongside Aaron Evans and Hannah Byczkowski. The trio split the £101,000 prize pot between them taking home a nice percentage of the lump sum each.
The Traitors is streaming on BBC iPlayer.

Martin Dale Contributor Portuguese director Susana Nobre’s first scripted fiction film, “Cidade Rabat,” is about a producer who grew up in the Cidade Rabat neighborhood in Lisbon, and who suddenly has to come to terms with the death of her mother. The title is partly inspired by her own life, since she grew up in the “Cidade Rabat” district of Benfica in Lisbon. Much of the action takes place in the nearby mixed-race neighborhood, Reboleira. Nobre describes the film as a “melancholic comedy about a woman who is about to turn 40, whose life enters a period of chaos when she loses her mother and suddenly lives a second adolescence.” There is a nostalgic feel to the film, of a district that was once brimming with energy but is now crumbling. This nostalgia is mixed with hope for a new life, embodied by the main character Helena’s 12-year old daughter, for which Nobre cast her own daughter.
