‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’: Steven Moffat & David Nutter Talk Time Travel, ‘Sherlock,’ & More [Bingeworthy Podcast]

HBO’s adaption of “The Time Traveler’s Wife” were left “disturbed” and “haunted” by a sex scene that was depicted in Sunday’s second episode, as well as the original book.In the episode, Henry — played by Theo James — explains to his love interest, Claire (Rose Leslie), how his father found out about his time-traveling powers by awkward accident. A flashback scene shows a 16-year-old version of Henry using his powers to go back in time and perform oral sex on himself when his father walks in and sees the two versions of his son — both naked and in bed together.

We are certainly living in a new golden age of television – and even a golden age of character-driven dramas tinged with sci-fi elements. Prime Video has started to dip their toe into these proverbial waters with shows like the brilliant “Outer Range” and now their latest series, “Night Sky.” The show follows Franklin and Irene York, played by the incomparable J.K.

Paramount+ original series “Tulsa King,” starring Sylvester Stallone, will premiere with two episodes on Sunday, Nov. 13, the streamer said Wednesday. Paramount Network will air a linear sneak peek of the crime drama’s first episode on Nov.

Sylvester Stallone’s career as a TV leading man has a launch date. Paramount+ said today that Tulsa King, the longtime film star’s first lead turn on the small screen, will bow on Sunday, November 13.

Selome Hailu Paramount+ announced that “Tulsa King,” Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming series starring Sylvester Stallone, will premiere on Nov. 13 with two episodes. All remaining episodes will become available for streaming weekly on Sundays.Additionally, Paramount Network will air a sneak peek at the premiere on Nov.

In the 2009 adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger’s novel “The Time Traveler’s Wife,” the titular time traveler Henry DeTamble (Eric Bana, soulful) explains that it works like gravity, big events pull him in. Opposite him sits the love of his life Clare (Rachel McAdams, radiant), who exclaims, “I was a big event.” “So it would seem,” he replies.

TULSA, Okla. -- Enough pieces of a bronze statue of a famous Native American ballerina that was stolen in Tulsa have been recovered to restore it, historical officials said.The additional missing pieces of the statue of Marjorie Tallchief that were found include the head, said Tulsa Historical Society and Museum Director Michelle Place, according to the Tulsa World.Still missing are the lower portion of each leg, both feet and one arm, but Gary Henson, one of the original sculptors, said he will be able to restore it.“You won’t be able to tell that it was ever cut up when I’m done,” Henson said.

“The Time Traveler’s Wife” into an HBO series because he’s a fan of the book.“It inspired the [‘Doctor Who’] episode ‘The Girl in the Fireplace,’” Moffat told The Post. “I had just read ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’, which I loved. And I said, ‘We should do an episode like that.’ And then, in [author Audrey Niffenegger’s] next book, she had a character watching ‘The Girl in the Fireplace’ on television.
