‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’: First Look At Season 2

Netflix released its first look of the Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series. Appearing at the streamer’s Tudum global fan event in São Paulo, Brazil, the cast previewed a teaser featuring the elements, which you can see in the video posted above.

Colin, on the other hand, returns for Season 3 with a new swagger about him, but he’s disheartened to find that Penelope, the one person who always appreciated him, is giving him the cold shoulder. Desperate to mend their relationship, Colin offers his assistance to help Penelope build her confidence in order to change her luck with her husband search this season. Suddenly, when his lessons begin working too well, Colin must decide whether his feelings for Penelope are just friendly or something more. Meanwhile, Penelope’s rift with Eloise (Claudia Jessie) continues to complicate matters and her growing presence in the ton makes it all the more difficult to keep her status as Lady Whistledown a secret.

Rachel Seo Gavin Casalegno is entering his wrestling era. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” actor has joined director Ash Avildsen’s “Queen of the Ring,” his reps confirmed to Variety. “Queen of the Ring” follows the story of WWE Hall of Fame-inducted wrestler Mildred Burke, a world champion who broke glass ceilings throughout the course of her career from the 1930s through the 1950s. Casalegno will play the teenage version of Joe, Burke’s son. The cast also reportedly includes Emily Bett Richards (“Arrow”) and Josh Lucas (“Ford v Ferrari”) as Burke and her husband and business manager, Billy Wolfe. Marie Avgeropoulos (“The 100”) and WWE’s Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan also star in the film. Avildsen (“Paradise City,” “American Satan”) will direct based on a script he penned. The film is inspired by Jeff Leen’s book of the same name.
