5 Seconds of Summer is taking off on the North American leg of their 2023 ‘The 5 Seconds of Summer Show’ world tour in support of their two latest albums, ‘5SOS5’ and ‘The Feeling of Falling Upwards – Live from The Royal Albert Hall.’Midway through the 20-concert run, the Aussie hitmakers will land in the city that never sleeps and headline at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Aug.

McKinley Franklin author Rooftop Films has announced the recipients of their 2023 Filmmakers Fund grants. A total of 21 cash and service grants will be awarded to a variety of independent filmmakers to support the production of their next short or feature film. Four Rooftop Films Water Tower Feature Film cash grants will be exclusively awarded with support from the Laurence W. Levine Foundation. Rooftop Filmmakers Fund grants are made accessible to Rooftop Films alumni directors who have had their work screened during the annual Sumer Series in New York City. King Princess has announced a five-date run of headline shows for the UK and Europe, tying in with her upcoming run of festival dates and opening slots for Sigur Rós and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.After she delivers sets at a trio of festivals – Rock Werchter in the titular Belgian city, Lollapalooza in Stockholm and Down The Rabbit Hole in Ewijk – the indie-pop magnate (whose real name is Mikaela Straus) will perform her own show at Amsterdam’s Paradiso venue on Tuesday July 4. She’ll then head to Madrid for this year’s Mad Cool festival, before headlining Kaufleuten in Zurich on Sunday July 9.Straus’ trek will continue with a one-off show opening for Sigur Rós in Lucca, Italy – set to go down on Tuesday July 11 – as well as her first show with the Chili Peppers, scheduled for Friday July 14 at the Vienna Stadium.

The Great Escape festival has today (March 28) added more than 100 new artists to its 2023 line-up, including Yonaka and Coach Party.The three-day festival is set to take place between May 10 and May 13 and will be based across over 35 venues across Brighton.In a new update, the festival organisers have today confirmed that 140 new artists will attend the mammoth event. The new additions will join over 250 musicians that have already been announced.Alt-rock band Coach Party are among the newly announced acts, as is the British rock four-piece, Yonaka.Other acts from across all genres are also now set to perform at the Brighton-based event – which provides a platform for emerging artists and underground acts.

The Offspring have announced plans for a US tour with Sum 41 and Simple Plan.The bands will hit the road for a 24 date jaunt, kicking off in Washington on August 1 before wrapping up in Massachusetts on September 3.“One of the best things about being on tour is travelling the world playing to great audiences, and it’s even better when you can do it with your friends,” said The Offspring’s Dexter Holland via Kerrang. “We had sold out international tours with Simple Plan and Sum 41, and we’re excited that they’ll be joining us this summer in America.

Philip Selway has announced a string of upcoming UK shows, following the release of his latest solo album.The Radiohead drummer is currently gearing up to hit the road as part of an upcoming solo tour – which kicks off in May.The six UK performances will follow a series of dates from across Europe, including the Café Del La Danse in Paris and the Columbia Theater in Berlin.
