‘The Munsters’ gets colorful remake in Rob Zombie film first-look teaser

On Sunday, Hollywood Wax Museum unveiled a new wax figure of Billie Eilish, which has been received less than warmly. Social media users quickly trolled the new figure after photos surfaced online.

Netflix just dropped the first look at Blonde, and what an uncanny look it is. In this new teaser trailer for the Andrew Dominik-directed film starring Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe, the  Hollywood icon is initially depicted as a tearful bundle of nerves, praying that some mysterious “she” won’t abandon her. As her make-up is applied and Monroe transforms into a smiling, radiant star, we realize exactly who she’s has been waiting for.

Well, it seems like it’s been an eternity and in the works for ages, but our first official look at Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe in director Andrew Dominik’s “Blonde,” is here, with a first look teaser trailer and new images. Based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates, “Blonde” boldly reimagines the life of Marilyn Monroe, exploring the split between her public and private selves.

Netflix released a first-look teaser for its upcoming holiday season special Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical, with Alisha Weir as the title character, a little girl with an extraordinarily vivid imagination. The film adaptation, written by Dennis Kelly, adapted from the Tony and Olivier award-winning Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of the stage’s Matilda The Musical, also stars Emma Thompson as Miss Trunchbull), and Lashana Lynch, Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough and Sindhu Vee.

Rob Zombie has released a teaser trailer for his brand new take on The Munsters.A reboot of the 1960s TV sitcom, this new interpretation will be coming to the big screen in full “living colour”.Zombie (real name Robert Bartleh Cummings), who is writing and directing the upcoming film, recently took to social media and his YouTube channel to share the teaser.It opens with a black-and-white exterior shot of the Munster mansion, before introducing us to the newly cast characters. Director Rob Zombie unveiled the first footage from his cinematic spin on ’60s TV classic The Munsters today with an opening credits montage that mirrors the TV show’s, but with his 2022 cast in the roles of Herman, Lily and Grandpa Munster. Rob Zombie clearly loves “The Munsters.” From his music, with all of its allusions to the classic TV sitcom, to his film work, which is influenced by his love of campy horror, Zombie obviously loves the stuff. So, it makes complete sense that the filmmaker would be the guy to make the latest feature film adapting “The Munsters.” And judging by the “teaser,” Zombie is not straying too far from the source material for his feature adaptation.

William Earl “House of 1000 Corpses” and “The Devil’s Rejects” auteur Rob Zombie is back with decidedly more family-friendly fare, judging by the teaser he released for his feature film remake of the classic sitcom “The Munsters.”The teaser is a recreation of the sitcom’s opening credits, along with a colorful twist at the end.The film, which stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster and Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa, is set to be released simultaneously in theaters by Universal Pictures and streaming on Peacock this year.Last June, Zombie announced he would be writing and directing the project, telling fans, “Attention Boils and Ghouls! The rumors are true! My next film project will be the one I’ve been chasing for 20 years! THE MUNSTERS! Stay tuned for exciting details as things progress!” In the months since, he has given numerous updates on his Instagram account, including behind-the-scenes photos, as well as location and costume updates. In a sharp distinction to his previous features, Zombie revealed on Instagram in March that this film will be rated PG.“For those of you speculating, wondering and assuming that ‘The Munsters’ would be dirty, violent and nasty…well, you are wrong,” he wrote.
