‘The Mandalorian’ Wins Five Emmys On Creative Arts Night Three

Apple TV+ has won its first Emmy Award, taking home a trophy during Sunday evening's broadcast. The award was handed down to The Morning Show star Billy Crudup for supporting actor in a drama series.

Billy Crudup just won his first Emmy and he had a message for young people during his speech.

Netflix's Cheer took home the Emmy for outstanding unstructured reality series at Saturday's Creative Arts awards. The docuseries about the cheerleading squad at Navarro College in Texas beat out Food Network's Amy Schumer Learns to Cook, Netflix's Kevin Hart: Don't F*** This Up, VH1's RuPaul's Drag Race: Untucked and HBO's We're Here for the award.

RuPaul won for outstanding host for a reality or competition program at Saturday's Creative Arts Emmys, breaking Jeff Probst's previous record for wins in the category with a fifth straight Emmy. In a pre-recorded video speech, RuPaul appeared in drag from the set of his show, and thanked the Academy, adding, "every time I bat my false eyelashes I'm making a political statement.

The second night of the Creative Arts Emmys was dominated by many familiar faces as “Saturday Night Live,” “Last Week Tonight with John Stewart,” “Live in Front of a Studio Audience,” “The Oscars” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” took home multiple awards. Notable wins included Marina Toybina and her team taking Costume Design for “The Masked Singer” and Don Roy King winning Directing for a Variety Series for the fourth straight year.
