Tim Minchin said it is surreal hearing his music as the soundtrack to Hollywood blockbuster Matilda The Musical. The movie based on Roald Dahl’s beloved book kicked off the 66th edition of the London Film Festival on Wednesday, two months before its cinematic release. Directed by Tony winner Matthew Warchus, it stars Dame Emma Thompson as bullish headteacher Miss Trunchbull and Bafta rising star Lashana Lynch as Matilda’s kindly teacher Miss Honey.

Måneskin have announced a last-minute intimate show in London.The Italian rockers will perform at the 500-capacity Underworld in Camden Town tomorrow night (October 6) to mark the release of their new single, ‘The Loneliest’ (out this Friday, October 7). Måneskin are due onstage at 9pm, and will play a 45-minute set.Tickets will be available for free on a first come, first-served basis at the venue’s box office tomorrow.

Victoria Beckham has given fans a sneak peek of her husband David's impressive organic honey harvest at their sprawling Cotswolds mansion. The fashion designer, 48, took to TikTok to proudly show off former footballer David's beehives and his honey, as they enjoyed a weekend away at their £6m holiday home. Victoria looked relaxed as she sported a grey sweatshirt and jeans in the clip, with the mum-of-four joking about David's honey and referring to it as his "sticky stuff".

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has completed the investigation into the sexual abuse allegations against Marilyn Manson.  After the 19-month probe, detectives turned in the results to prosecutors, who said Tuesday more evidence is needed before they can consider criminal charges against Manson. The case against the 53-year-old musician involves sexual assault and domestic violence from 2009 until 2011.  The District Attorney’s Office called the case it received "partial." The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has completed the investigation into the sexual abuse allegations against Marilyn Manson.

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) is still ongoing, but the department has submitted its initial findings to the L.A. District Attorney’s Office, The Daily Beast first reported Monday and a representative of the D.A.’s office has confirmed to The FADER. The office sent the following statement: “On September 19, 2022, investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department provided partial case material to LADA pertaining to the sexual assault allegations against Brian Warner, also known as Marilyn Manson.

However, prosecutors say they need more before they can consider possible criminal charges.“On 19 Sep 2022, investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department provided partial case material to LADA pertaining to the sexual assault allegations against Brian Warner, also known as Marilyn Manson”, says the DA’s Office in a statement.

Marilyn Manson has been submitted to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.Back in February 2021, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department began investigating the abuse allegations that were made against Manson. It came after actor Evan Rachel Wood (Manson’s former partner) and several other women accused Manson of sexual abuse, grooming and manipulation.

In something of an unusual move, the LA County District Attorney George Gascón has posted a video message to Instagram providing an update on the police investigation into the allegations of sexual abuse that have been made against Marilyn Manson.The LA County Sheriff’s Department first announced that its Special Victims Unit was looking into abuse allegations against Manson – real name Brian Warner – back in February 2021.The investigation began after actor Evan Rachel Wood confirmed that, when she had previously spoken about an abusive former partner, she was talking about her relationship with the musician. Other women then subsequently came forward also accusing Warner of abuse, some of whom then filed lawsuits in relation to their allegations.When an earlier allegation of abuse was made against Warner in LA County in 2018 – with the musician accused of having held a woman captive for two days in 2011 – the DA’s office decided not to pursue a case against him, stating that the statute of limitations had expired and that there was an “absence of corroboration”.But the reason that the DA’s office has not taken any action this time round, Gascón says, is simply because it is still waiting for the LA Country Sheriff’s Department to submit any report stemming from its investigation.In the statement on Instagram, Gascón explains: “The Brian Warner matter is still under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and has not yet been submitted to our office”.“Please be assured that we are requesting regular updates on the status of the investigation”, he adds.

Garbage’s Shirley Manson has paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, recalling the impact a photo book from the coronation had on her as a child.The Queen died yesterday (September 8) at her Balmoral estate in Scotland at the age of 96. She served as the monarch for 70 years.In a post shared on Garbage’s Instagram page, Manson recalled the first time she saw images from the coronation, which took place in 1953.

Måneskin’s MTV VMAs performance has been uploaded in its full, uncensored form after the cameras cut away from the band several times during the live show.The Italian band made their debut appearance at the US awards show last month (August 28) to perform their single ‘Supermodel’.However, the performance was heavily censored on the live broadcast, with MTV later confirming that it cut to aerial shots of the arena several times because bassist Victoria De Angelis’ top fell down, exposing her breasts.The network has now uploaded a full, uncensored video of the performance to its YouTube channel. The video shows that, despite De Angelis’ wardrobe malfunction, the bassist kept playing, striding down the stage and into the crowd.

Inspired by true events, the edgy thriller follows Joel, a religious Filipino sailor who finds a Romanian stowaway, Dumitru, hidden between some containers during his shift on a transatlantic ship. Joel decides to hide him and subsequently starts feeling tormented by his crew, friends and even God.
