With the cost of living rising exponentially, families all over Greater Manchester are tightening their belts like never before, and the cost of everyday items or activities can feel further out of reach.
In light of this, Salford-based church Winners Chapel International Manchester has been working hard to develop a range of incredible community development-focused projects, as well as providing opportunities for families and individuals across Greater Manchester to come together, build support networks, and lean on each other as a community.
Winners Chapel International Manchester feels strongly that they have a corporate social responsibility to the members of the local community, and therefore orchestrates a range of invaluable initiatives such as a foodbank, charity donations, social projects, environment clean-ups, and free opportunities for families to get together, strengthen community and have fun.
Having been a great success when it was first introduced in 2019, the community Summer Fair is due to take place again on Saturday, August 27, 2022. A grassroots community event, the day will be dedicated to improving good relationships, oneness and love within the community.
The church's aim is to provide a recreational, entertaining and memorable experience for everyone in the community. A day for everyone to take a break, unwind and have fun, the Summer Fair offers a wonderful opportunity for individuals and families alike to come together in a relaxed atmosphere designed to build relationships.
Promising to offer something for everyone, the event will take place at Albert Park in Salford at 12pm and is completely free, but requires registration. Activities for the day include; all kinds of fun outdoor sports,
