The Libertines singer Pete Doherty has welcomed a baby daughter with his wife Katia de Vidas, their first as a couple. The 44 year old musician shared the news on his Instagram page with two adorable snaps, including one of his little girl’s hospital tag. It informed that the newborn tot was born on May 31, as well as announcing that the couple have decided to call their daughter Billie-May Doherty.There was also a gorgeous image of the baby girl all curled up.
Friends and fans were among those to congratulate the pair, who first started dating in 2012, in the social media post’s comments. One person shared: "Peter - now the joy you worked so hard for will be SO apparent. You’re about to really see what you fought for……and you’re gonna be so proud of yourself for getting to this place.

Pete previously said he was forming "a solid and protective clan" with Katia in the early days of their relationship.The pair then made things official and tied the knot in 2021 with a low-key private wedding ceremony at the Domaine Saint Clair hotel in the French city of Etretat.
