'The Haunting of Bly Manor' Finale: Victoria Pedretti on Dani's Love Story, Season 3 and More (Exclusive)

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding new ghostly Netflix show The Haunting Of Bly Manor, and fans have made quite the shocking discovery. Yes the Halloween-y must-watch sees a rather stuffy uncle seek out a nanny to take care of his niece and nephew after their parents died, but fans have quickly released they recognise the uncle from somewhere.

Netflix’s The Haunting of Bly Manor — a series obsessed with far spookier images like ghostly footprints and creepy dolls — ends with, of all things, the shot of an unseen woman’s hand in the dark. Traditionally, such an image would suggest the living character in the frame, in this case Bly Manor gardener Jamie (Carla Gugino for this 2007 section of Bly), has one final terror to face, even after Bly Manor fades to black.

Downton Abbey. Episode 8 makes a brief reference to Hampshire, a county outside of London, but that's all the info we get.

The Haunting of Bly Manor. That's because, at its core, is not a horror story. It is a ghost story, yes, with extremely brutal moments and even the occasional jump scare, but above all else, The Haunting of Bly Manor is a series of love stories, ranging from romantic to maternal.
