The Greatest Showman star Loren Allred has hit back at Britain's Got Talent criticism after she was awarded the golden buzzer by Amanda Holden on Saturday's opening show. Loren stunned the judges and the audience with a beautiful performance of Never Enough which she also sang in the hit film, The Greatest Showman. While the audience gave Loren a standing ovation, many fans questioned whether the professional singer should have been given a golden buzzer as she is already a successful, famous singer.Taking to Instagram on Monday night, Loren, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, shared a message from a fan where it hit back at the criticism.

It read: "Many people question and criticise her participation on @bgt, stating that it's unfair for her to participate, get recognised, and even get the golden buzzer, just because she is a professional singer and has performed to several big occasions. "And I'm totally against that.
I mean, what's wrong with being a professional and joining a talent competition again? If you are an artist, you will understand how nerve-wrecking and risky for her to make that decision. "It could have ruined her whole reputation, yet she pushes her boundaries and took the chance. BGT is about giving a wider platform for talents to perform and be more appreciated, even for the professional ones.
"Really salute her courage to push through and give herself a shot. She deserves more recognition with all of her hardwork for years. We got you, @lorenallred." It comes after ITV bosses also defended Amanda’s decision to propel Loren into the semi-final.
