As we’ve covered, the actor quit the show in the middle of season 9 two years ago as an investigation over concerns about his workplace behavior reached a boiling point. His character was then promptly killed off at the start of the next season, giving him no chance to return. As we covered, Jeff exited the ABC series in 2021 — reportedly mid-scene! — as HR was looking into his supposedly problematic on-set behavior. According to a Deadline report at the time, he was accused of being “extremely verbally and emotionally abusive” toward co-workers. Garlin himself addressed the drama with Vanity Fair (one month before his exit). He told the outlet one incident involved him using the word “vagina” on set, though he claimed he was just being “silly.” A camera assistant filed a complaint, which resulted in Jeff allegedly retaliating

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Wendi McLendon-Covey said during a recent interview with Andy Cohen for SiriusXM that Jeff Garlin’s exit from “The Goldbergs” was “a long time coming.” The two comedians headlined the ABC sitcom from its 2013 debut until December 2021, when Garlin was fired from the show after a series of HR investigations into his alleged misconduct on set. “That was a long time coming,” McLendon-Covey said. “That it finally happened, it was like, ‘Ok, finally someone is listening to us. That’s not why they tune in.”
Despite his claims that it would happen, twice-impeached former president Donald Trump was, in fact, not arrested on Tuesday — but, there is some movement expected to come from the grand jury on Wednesday, and Jimmy Fallon couldn’t help but laugh at the fact that, of all days, Trump might get indicted for paying off an adult film star on Hump Day.The “Tonight Show” host went on a tear about Trump’s possible arrest on Tuesday, first joking that it was being delayed just so “the courtroom sketch artist has enough time to load up on orange pencils.” Fallon also joked that the event is so highly anticipated, “Right now in Times Square, Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen are hosting the indictment countdown.”“Yeah, Trump will be formally charged tomorrow for his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, ironically on … Hump Day,” Fallon said with a shrug. “Yeah I didn’t plan that! I didn’t plan that.” While it’s not a guarantee that an indictment will come Wednesday, many expect it will simply because that’s when the grand jury is convening again and, at this point, all that’s left to do is decide whether criminal charges are necessary. This case is just one of many ongoing investigations into the twice-impeached former president, and stems from a $130,000 payment made to Stormy Daniels in 2016.
