Sophia Grace Brownlee is officially a mum after announcing she has given birth to her first baby. The 19-year-old found fame after she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her cousin Rosie McClelland following YouTube stardom. Taking to Instagram on Sunday night, Sophia uploaded an adorable black and white snap of her tiny tot’s hands next to her own.
She captioned the post: ‘26. 02. 23’, revealing that he was actually born last month in February.
Floods of comments poured in, including a sweet message from the chat show host herself, Ellen, who left: ‘Welcome to the world, Nicki Minaj the 3rd! [sic]’. The star’s cousin – who she rose to notoriety with – also shared words of support for the new mum: ‘I love him so much already’. YouTuber and social media star Saffron Barker wrote: ‘Congratulations gorgeous,’ alongside a red love heart emoji.
The first-time mum was famed for her performance of Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass on the popular daytime television programme after a video of theirs went viral. Dressed in a pink ballerina’s tutu and princess crown, the then-eight-year-old thrilled audience members with her cousin as the adorable duo belted out the hit. Following their cameo, Rosie and Sophia became regular guests and were even given their own segment on the American show called Tea Time with Sophia Grace and Rosie – which saw them chat to celebrities across the globe.
Keeping fans updated, at the end of January the mum-to-be uploaded a series of snaps that showed her celebrating her baby shower.
