Moving forward. The Challenge‘s Tori Deal and ex-fiancé Jordan Wiseley called it quits nearly two years ago, but she says the duo are now getting along better than ever.
“We are probably the best that we’ve ever been,” the New York native, 29, exclusively told Us Weekly on Tuesday, October 4, ahead of the Challenge: Ride or Dies premiere. “Not ever been, obviously, because we were about to get married. But now we can definitely have, like, a nice relationship that doesn’t feel toxic.”
Deal and the Real World alum, 33, got engaged in 2019 after meeting two years earlier on the set of The Challenge XXX: Dirty 30. After filming The Challenge: The War of the Worlds together, the duo called it quits in November 2020.
“I thought I knew love when Jordan and I were together, but there is a different kind of love that two people feel when they decide it’s time to experience life apart,” Deal wrote via Instagram at the time. “Even though Jordan and I are going to be moving forward in separate ways, our love, support, and connection with one another only grows stronger and deeper.”
Despite the split, however, the pair seemingly got along well during Ride or Dies, which marked their first time competing together since their breakup.
“It just feels good,” the Are You the One? alum told Us of her rapport with Wiseley. “It feels good for both of us where we are right now.”
The MTV personality was also excited to give winning another shot after The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies, where she narrowly missed victory in the December 2021 season finale. (Chris “CT” Tamburello and Kaycee Clark took home the grand prize.)
“Last season, I ended, like, 10 seconds right before or right after first place,” Deal told Us. “It was so close. I still have

Whoopi Goldberg and ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ alum Claudia Jordan have called out Meghan Markle over her claims of feeling "objectified" during her time as a briefcase model on "Deal or No Deal." The 66-year-old talk show host and the 49-year-old former No.1 briefcase model questioned Markle, 41, after the Duchess of Sussex revealed that she felt conflicted about her experience on the show during an episode of her podcast "Archetypes". Markle said she eventually quit after feeling "forced to be all looks and little substance." "On that show, you basically had a suitcase and they wanted to know: 'Is this the deal you want, or is this not the deal you want?'" Goldberg said to her co-hosts during Wednesday's episode of "The View." "I don't know that the people who are sitting there are thinking about you like that," she added.

Emily Longeretta If the last few seasons of “The Challenge” seemed a bit different — and a bit too focused on confusing twists and themes — don’t fret. MTV’s upcoming 38th season is heading back to basics. “I think in the past few seasons, even going back to ‘Total Madness,’ they’ve been kind of tough themes to follow — like, who’s a liar, who’s a spy and who’s an outlier? Historically, what does the best for us is simple concepts where we can pick our winners and pick our horses and watch it unfold,” veteran player Jordan Wiseley said on the latest episode of the “Reality Rundown” podcast. “Casting wise, we went back to our roots. You have to cast outside of the pool to expand the show. I understand what we’re doing. We’re the best competition show globally, we have to bring in those new people. But we have a diehard fan base. We have the best fans in the world, so you’ve got to honor that and I think we did that with Season 38.”
