Exact plot and character details for the show remain under wraps, aside from the fact that it is described as a genre-bending contemporary take on the private detective story set in Los Angeles.Ryan received both an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actress for her role in the film “Gone Baby Gone.” Her other feature credits include “Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance),” “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead,” and “Capote.” On the TV side, she is known for her celebrated turns in both “The Office” as Holly Flax as well as the HBO series “The Wire,” in which she played Beatrice “Beadie” Russell.

Outside of 2017’s “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri,” McDonagh’s film efforts have included either Gleeson or Farrell, but “The Banshees of Inisherin” is the trio’s second collective collaboration.

Variety confirmed in March that HBO Max had given a straight-to-series order for series, which will be a spinoff of Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” movie. Carson Burton The shoot for “Thirteen Lives,” the feature film adaptation of the miraculous 2018 cave-diving rescue mission known as the Tham Luang cave rescue, found all principal cast members taking to the water to navigate long, recreated cave corridors. Tom Bateman, who plays one of the rescue divers in the film, recalls the hours upon hours of underwater training the film required.“We were fucking pruned!” Bateman told Variety at the red carpet premiere of the film at Westwood Village Theater on Thursday night. “It was pretty tough, man.
