People who shop at ASDA, Tesco and Sainsbury's have been warned to avoid eating certain types of chocolate. A warning has been issued and people are being urged to check their cupboards.
Following investigations, it was found that some products, which were intended for the European market only and have already been recalled by Ferrero in Europe, were imported into the UK by importers not linked to Ferrero. Symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.
This update does not replace the earlier recall update. The previous updates saw Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's recall several items.
