A teenager is set to appear in court accused of carrying a tool to steal near a bar in an upmarket Manchester suburb. Declan Kane has been charged with going equipped for stealing following an alleged incident outside the Kiosk bar in West Didsbury.
Police were called out to reports of an attempted bike theft being disrupted outside the Lapwing Lane premises. The incident took place at around 9pm last Thursday, July 28.
Greater Manchester Police says officers from its neighbourhood team in South Manchester were sent out.

Kane, of Goldsmith Road, was later charged. He is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, August 9.
Kiosk opened its doors for the first time last year as Manchester's smallest bar. The business serves coffee, pastries and alcoholic drinks from a metre-wide former storage cupboard next to the Post Office on Lapwing Lane.
