Believing in well-being! The cast of Ted Lasso helped President Joe Biden discuss the importance of mental health by making a special appearance at the White House.
Jason Sudeikis — along with costars Brett Goldstein, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, James Lance and Toheeb Jimoh — visited the President and First Lady, Jill Biden, on Monday, March 20, to assist in tackling the mental health crisis, which is the centerpiece of the Biden Administration’s Unity Agenda. Prior to their meeting with the commander-in-chief himself, the cast participated in a press conference alongside press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
“It’s sincerely an honor to visit the White House and have the opportunity to speak to the President and First Lady about the importance of mental health. No matter who you are, no matter where you live, no matter who you voted for, we all — probably, I assume — we all know someone — or have been that someone ourselves, actually — who has struggled, that’s felt isolated, that’s felt anxious, that’s felt alone,” Sudeikis, 47 — who portrays titular character Ted Lasso on the AppleTV+ series — told reporters. “And it’s actually one of the many things, believe it or not, that we all have in common as human beings. That means it’s something we can all — and should — talk about with one another when we’re feeling that way.”
He continued, “A big theme of the show is to check in with your neighbor, your coworker, your friends, your family and ask how they’re doing and listen. While it’s easier said than done, we also have to know that we shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help ourselves. And that does take a lot, especially when it’s something that has such a negative stigma to it such as mental health, and that doesn’t need to

finally returned on Wednesday, debuting the first episode of its third — and likely final — season. However, for a show that's built a reputation on gentle, feel-good comedy, it seems like the final part of the journey might be a bit heavy, as nearly all of our favorite characters start out the season dealing with some darkness in their lives.First, there's Ted (Jason Sudeikis), who is starting to have some existential questions about why he's still across the pond after all — especially after a long visit from his son, Henry (Gus Turner), and a viral moment when he's spotted taking the AFC Richmond team down into the London sewers. (It's a metaphor!)Then there's Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham), who's become obsessed with the fact that Richmond is last in nearly every pre-season ranking, while West Ham United is toward the top of each list, headed up by the sinister combination of her ex-husband, Rupert (Anthony Head), and former Richmond kit man Nate (Nick Mohammed). And finally, Keeley (Juno Temple) and Roy (Brett Goldstein) save the biggest heartbreak for last, confirming that the tension between them at the end of season 2 did ultimately lead to a split — though it seems they don't see eye to eye about whether it was a «break» or a «breakup.»Ultimately, by episode's end, there are some things to feel good about.
Ted Lasso” is to Apple: CEO Tim Cook was among the hundreds gathered in Westwood last week for the show’s Season 3 premiere. Such events are normally a bit more low-key by the time a series reaches its third season. But not “Ted Lasso,” which filled the 1,400-person-capacity Regency Village Theatre, followed by a party that drew 700 RSVPs — and yes, Cook was there too, holding court at Brentwood’s tony Baltaire eatery. “Ted Lasso” is a show that is still at its pop culture peak. That’s why, as the Emmy-winning comedy returns to Apple TV+ on March 15, its fate is on everyone’s minds — including star Jason Sudeikis.

The stadium is located near to West London Studios and is a 15-minute train ride from London’s Paddington Station.AFC Richmond’s home ground Nelson Road aka the Dog Pound is actually Selhurst Park, which is the home of real-world Premier League side Crystal Palace.
Jason Sudeikis) promised Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) he would do at the end of season 1. Apple TV+’s Emmy-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” premiering on March 15, Variety spoke with series stars Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Nick Mohammed and Toheeb Jimoh. The interviews offered insights about what comes next for the “Ted Lasso” characters, as well as the rationale behind creative decisions made in the writers’ room for Season 3 — including the 12-episode season’s longer episodes. As “Ted Lasso” returns, AFC Richmond is considered the last place underdogs on the Premier League — and the stakes are raised, with former assistant coach Nate Shelley (Mohammed) now at the helm of West Ham United (AFC Richmond’s prestigious competitor).
