Neighbours star Jackie Woodburne fought back tears as she discussed the fate of the Australian soap opera, following reports it could be facing the axe. Jackie, who has played Susanne Kennedy for 27 years, appeared on Australian talkshow The Project on Monday 7 February to share her reaction to the news. Actress Jackie, 66, was emotional as she admitted she had experienced a "rollercoaster" of emotions since the reports the 40 year-long show is set to be no more.

She said: "Oh Carrie, it's been a rollercoaster absolutely... the last 24 hour or 36 hours as you can imagine. "It's kind of a lot of information to try and process but I still feel in shock, a bit overwhelmed." Jackie, who is known for portraying Dr Karl Kennedy's wife in the soap, also explained she has been in touch with her fellow cast mates about the shock news.
When asked if she'd spoken to her fellow Neighbours actors, Jackie said: "Certainly have. We had a meeting today where our producers gave us some more information and really nothing more that's already been out there. "But look, I have to say the feeling was one of...
