‘Tarzan’ Actor Challenges DA Report In Son’s Shooting Death

Denise Petski Senior Managing EditorPolice in Grand Prairie, Texas, have arrested an 18-year-old man in the shooting death of The Kids Are All Right and Surface actor Eddie Hassell.D’Jon Antone was arrested Wednesday for investigation of capital murder, Grand Prairie police said in a statement. Antone is being held at Grand Prairie Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.Investigators have determined that the attack was a random robbery, police said.

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of “The Kids Are All Right” and “Surface” actor Eddie Hassell.  The Grand Prairie Police Department identified 18-year-old D’Jon Antone to Fox News as the person taken into custody on Wednesday. Detectives believe that Antone shot and killed Hassell during a random robbery incident last week.

ATLANTA -- Atlanta police announced Friday that they have made an arrest in the shooting death of actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd.Homicide detectives on Wednesday obtained an warrant for the arrest of 30-year-old Antonio Demetrice Rhynes on a felony murder charge based on evidence and tips from the public, and officers arrested him early Friday morning, Officer Steve Avery said in an email.Rhynes will be taken to the Fulton County jail once he's processed, Avery said.

The death of DJ and producer Erick Morillo has been judged to be the result of an accidental overdose in a preliminary report by the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner Department.According to Mixmag, the report lists the cause of death as “acute ketamine toxicity”, with MDMA and cocaine also listed as contributing factors. The final report is set for publication later this month.Morillo was found dead at his Florida home last month.
